Forest motivational message

Desire sparks motivation, but it’s your determination and unwavering commitment to your goal that will drive you to the success you’re striving for.

“Every challenge you face is an opportunity to grow stronger. Don’t fear the tough moments; embrace them as stepping stones toward the person you’re meant to become. Keep moving forward, and trust that the path you’re on will lead you to greatness.”

Success is a journey, not a destination.

The Anger Management Story:

Once upon a time, there was a boy with a very bad temper.

One day, his father handed him a bag of nails and said, “Every time you lose your temper, you must hammer a nail into this fence.”

On the first day, the boy hammered 37 nails into the fence.

As the days went on, the boy began to control his temper, and the number of nails he hammered into the fence gradually decreased.

He soon realized that it was easier to control his temper than to hammer nails into the fence.

Finally, the day came when the boy did not lose his temper at all. He proudly told his father, and his father suggested that the boy now remove one nail from the fence each day that he kept his temper in check.

The days went by, and eventually, the boy was able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took the boy by the hand and led him to the fence.

“You did well, my son,” the father said, “but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this. You can put a knife in a man and pull it out. No matter how many times you say you’re sorry, the wound is still there.”

Significance of hope

Isn’t hope, in itself, a sign of some deeper purpose in life, something that makes the fight worthwhile?

Start Over

When life knocks you down
and your heart feels bruised,
when the weight of the world
leaves you worn and confused…
It’s time to start over.
Start to FIGHT again.

When darkness surrounds
and there’s no light ahead,
when doubts cloud your mind
and fill you with dread…
It’s time to start over.
Start to BELIEVE again.

When the path feels endless
and your strength is gone,
when you can’t find your way
and feel like you don’t belong…
It’s time to start over.
Start to WALK again.

When kindness fades
and love feels out of reach,
when your heart is empty
and you long for relief…
It’s time to start over.
Start to LOVE again.

When you stumble and fall
and there’s no hand to hold,
when life’s weight pulls you down
and leaves you in the cold…
It’s time to start over.
Start to RISE again.

When hope seems distant,
and despair feels near,
when reality is hard to bear
and everything’s unclear…
It’s time to start over.
Start to DREAM again.

Remember…

Every ending brings a chance
to start something new;
we fall sometimes
just to gain a clearer view.
And stepping back
doesn’t mean defeat.

Reach out to someone,
rebuild lost ties,
bring people close
and lift others high.
Give comfort to the hurting,
find wisdom in pain.

Start over, rebuild yourself,
remember what’s good,
renew your dreams,
reclaim what you could.
Learn from your missteps,
find rhythm in the dance,
and if life sets you back,
hold onto hope
and START AGAIN.

Braulio Bessa.

Quote about staying in the present

“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.” Buddha.

If you’re going to try, go all the way. Otherwise, don’t even start.

This could mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives and maybe even your mind. It could mean not eating for three or four days. It could mean freezing on a park bench. It could mean jail. It could mean derision. It could mean mockery- isolation. Isolation is the gift.

All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it. And, you’ll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine.

If you’re going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It’s the only good fight there is.” Charles Bukowski.

Quote about self-acceptance

“Just be yourself, there’s no one better.” Taylor Swift.

“People judge you on your performance, so focus on the outcome. Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected.” Steve Jobs.

“True fulfillment comes from pursuing your goals with determination, embracing life with passion, accepting defeat with grace, and celebrating victories with courage.

After all, the world belongs to those who take risks, and life is too valuable to be lived insignificantly.” — Augusto Branco.

What is motivation? It’s the process that starts, directs, and sustains behaviors aimed at specific goals.

Motivation drives you to take action, whether it’s reaching for a glass of water to satisfy your thirst or picking up a book to expand your knowledge.

It involves the biological, emotional, social, and cognitive factors that trigger behavior. In everyday conversation, “motivation” is commonly used to explain why someone does what they do.

A message from Saint Francis of Assisi

“Begin by tackling what needs to be done, then move on to what you can do. Before you know it, you’ll be achieving the impossible.” – Saint Francis of Assisi.

“Anyone who truly believes that higher beings have given humanity insights into the purpose of our existence and the nature of the world is still immature in their thinking. The only revelations we have come from the thoughts of the wise, and even those are fallible, just like everything human is bound to be.” Schopenhauer.

Quote about resilience

Nobody can beat someone who never gives up.

A Motivational Message from Pope Francis on Envy and What Truly Matters.

Don’t cry over what you’ve lost; instead, fight for what you still have. Don’t mourn what’s gone; strive for what’s blossoming within you.

Don’t weep for those who have left your life; treasure those who stand by your side. Don’t dwell on those who harbor hatred for you; focus on the ones who genuinely want to see you happy.

Don’t lament your past; invest your energy in your present. Don’t suffer over your pain; fight for your happiness.

Finding happiness isn’t always easy; it requires letting go of many things, making tough choices, and having the courage to embrace both the challenges and rewards that come with it.

With time, we learn that nothing is impossible to overcome; just keep moving forward with those who want to be with you and are willing to fight for your relationship. Those who think that wealth and status attract envy are mistaken…

What people really envy is the easy smile, the inner light, the simple and genuine happiness, and the peace that comes from within.

Quote about success by Frank Sinatra

“The best revenge is massive success.” Frank Sinatra.

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking.

Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

Steve Jobs.

A motivational quote from Marilyn Monroe

“Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are.” – Marilyn Monroe.

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.” – Steve Jobs.

What to do with your thoughts

Once you organize your thoughts around what you want in life, the universe starts to align with that.

Don’t believe in something just because you heard it. Don’t buy into it just because everyone else is talking about it.

Don’t trust something just because it’s written in religious books.

Don’t take it as truth just because your teachers or mentors say so.

Don’t follow traditions just because they’ve been passed down through generations.

But, after careful thought and observation, if you find that something makes sense and brings good to everyone, accept it and live by it. – Buddha.

Coffee looking at the window

Being strong is not the absence of weaknesses, but the ability to overcome them.
